Shout Out To My Real Africans Out There - Marshawn Lynch Continues To Rebuff Media

Posted in: , ,

Seattle Seahawks running back Marshawn Lynch has refused, for the third day in a row, to give meaningful answers to the reporters who ask him questions during press briefings for the on-coming Super Bowl. A few of the journalists had yesterday talked about boycotting Skittles which the NFL player endorses, but that does not seem to have affected Marshawn Lynch in any way.

On the first day, the player said about 29 times that he was only at the press conference to avoid being fined, read here. Today, and to the delight of his African fans, the football star showed them some love as he rebuffed the press, saying, "Shout out to my real Africans out there."

Seahawks' Marshawn Lynch At Super Bowl Media Day - 'I'm Here So I Won't Get Fined'

Posted in: , , ,

One of the most popular players for Seattle's Seahawks is Marshawn Lynch, his appeal is three pronged. He plays in Beast mode all the time, he loves Skittles, and he doesn't like talking to the media. His beast mode wins him games, his Skittles love has all the children over him, but his media silent treatment only gets him on the wrong side of the NFL.

The Seattle Seahawks running back was fined $100,000 for not appearing at press briefings earlier in the season, and the NFL was threatening to fine him another $500,000 if he did not make it to the Super Bowl Media Day.

Scandalous Super Bowl? Brad Johnson Admits Ball Tampering & Patriots Under Investigation

Posted in: , ,

My local NFL team, the Seattle Seahawks have just qualified to play in the upcoming Super Bowl and if they win, it will be the second time, and two years in a row that they're coming home with the trophy. So my interest in the NFL and the Super Bowl in particular has been on the increase. Imagine my horror to read this double whammy of a report.

First, the Patriots who the Seattle Seahawks are to meet at the Super Bowl have been accused of deflating the balls that they used in their win over the Colts. As the NFL is investigating whether the Patriots violated NFL rules by tampering with the footballs, former Buccaneers quarterback Brad Johnson has admitted to paying a bribe to have all the footballs used in the 2003 Super Bowl tampered with.
